Terms of service

These terms govern use of this website and relocation advisory engagements with Engine Wirebase.

1. Acceptance and provider

By using this website you accept these terms. Paid services are provided by Engine Wirebase at Level 6, 38 Prenzlauer Allee, Berlin 10405. A specific engagement begins only when we confirm scope, fee and timing in writing.

2. Nature of our advice

We provide research and practical decision support concerning German cities, neighbourhoods and relocation planning. We do not provide legal, immigration, tax, investment or regulated real-estate brokerage advice. Information reflects conditions and sources available when prepared; rents, transport, public procedures and availability can change.

3. Client responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate context, review deliverables promptly and independently verify time-sensitive facts before acting. Outcomes including a tenancy, job, residence permit, childcare place or public appointment are not guaranteed.

4. Fees, cancellation and refunds

Fees and payment dates are stated before engagement. Consultation invoices are normally due before the meeting. Research commissions may require a deposit. Cancellation, rescheduling and refund conditions form part of these terms and are set out in our refund policy.

5. Intellectual property

Website text, design and original materials remain our intellectual property. Personal briefs are licensed to the commissioning client for private use and may be shared with household members and professional advisers. They may not be republished, sold or used to train a commercial information service without permission.

6. Acceptable website use

You must not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious material or misrepresent yourself through forms. Links to external sources are provided for context; we do not control their content or availability.

7. Liability

We remain liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and mandatory statutory liability. For slight negligence affecting an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical loss. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

8. Governing law and disputes

German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. If legally permitted, Berlin is the place of jurisdiction. The European Commission discontinued its online dispute-resolution platform in 2025; we are not obliged or willing to participate in consumer arbitration unless required by law.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms prospectively. The version agreed for an existing engagement continues to govern that engagement unless a lawful change is accepted. Questions may be sent to info@engine-wirebase.digital.
